I recently asked for your questions about Feng Shui, and then I spent hours looking at all of them, and gave them my best answers. Many of you have been conned or baffled by IRABO’s.
The good news is that the MOST of my loyal readers are fans and are enthusiastic about learning these principles. That’s great news as I haven’t taught Feng Shui in over 9 years, but now is the time to let it reemerge as I’ve entered a 3 Tree House [sprouting].
THERE IS BAD NEWS HOWEVER…
And a lot of it! In fact, I’ve finished a valuable report that reveals 8 crucial questions that you MUST ASK (AND VERY FEW ACTUALLY HAVE) to ensure you’re taking specalist advice from an experienced consultant. Just type in your name and email address on the right and I’ll email it to you.
This report truly reveals why most people get confused about compass directions, conflicting Feng Shui advice and get caught out by IRABO’s [explained in the report]
I may upset a few people with this report so, I may take it down at any time if I see too many negative comments.
Frankly, I like the FACT that most people need to be conviced about Feng Shui.
I hope you enjoy “Feng Shui Secrets”!
Wishing You Success,
Jonathan

Mail this post Wow! A short while ago I asked for the one most important question you have about Feng Shui and how to use it to attract better health, cashflow and good luck… and I just can’t believe the response!
The emails came FLOODING into my inbox – mainly because there was a problem with the comments box and people weren’t able to leave comments for the first couple of hours [sorry about that!] – and I am quite surprised at how many folks took the time to write back to me.
(And by the way, if you haven’t written yet, I would still love to hear from you!)
Quite frankly, as you’ll see below, some were quite desperate, looking for this to be a magic bullet. Some questions were really profound, some comments were deeply sceptical and scathing in criticism.
Many people see it as a logical way to organise your space and thus organise your thoughts. Others believe in attraction and the spiritual side of Feng Shui. A few see it as deluded superstition.
Which side are you on? Am I teaching the ancient science that created the compass and works on actual natural laws, or am I a delusional tree-hugger who bought his house and runs his business using principles that are absolute garbage? Comments please…
I’ll tell you one thing that’s really clear - a lot of my best clients love the promise of Feng Shui – that by rearranging your external world then your internal world improves too - but many of you are incredibly frustrated because you can’t get a straight answer and keep getting conflicting advice.
You would think with all the millions of Feng Shui books and web sites out there, it would be a breeze to get directions you can trust. But it just seems like most so called “Feng Shui advisers” want to over-charge you for some generic advice and no two of them agree! Let me give you an example:
Q: Where is the best location for the kitchen in a home?
“…the southwest is the most inauspicious location for the kitchen” – Steven Skinner, The Living Earth Manual of Feng Shui
“One of the most favourable sites would be the southwest” – Evelyn Lip, Feng Shui For Business
What I am working on now is compiling all those emails and comments you sent in – I thought it would be interesting to come up with a list of the top things that folks want to know about Feng Shui.
Once I get this data put together, I am going to put it into a nice report and distribute it for free. If you want to get the report when it’s ready, just type in your name and email in the “Special Offers” box down there on the right of this page.
I am also starting a Feng Shui course by email for people who might be interested in my take on Feng Shui, having worked with real people in the real world since 1990 – people like Virgin Cinemas, Texstyle World, Marriott Hotels…
If you’d like to receive a short crash course on how to immediately apply Feng Shui to YOUR home or office in quick, practical baby steps written in simple language, then use the same “Special Offers” box to express interest.
Wishing you every success,
Jonathan
P.S. I just want to thank you again for all your great questions – some tougher than others - and if you haven’t sent yours yet, just use the comments box to type in the one most burning question you want answered about Feng Shui… do it now.

Mail this post Feng Shui enthusiasts come in all different sizes and shapes. Different personalities and cultural backgrounds are incorporated into the Feng Shui schools. The good thing is that you do not have to limit yourself to a certain school to be able to apply Feng Shui. However, it may do you a lot of good if you are able to find the groups of people who have the same interests as yours as far as Feng Shui is concerned.
If you are just after the loose application of Feng Shui, this is easy and the Intuitive School is were I’d start, for Feng Shui is really all a matter of channeling the right energy to make the environment work to your benefit.
The best thing about Feng Shui is that it attracts a huge variety of people. You don’t even have to look too far and you will easily find a person who is into Feng Shui. And with the many challenges facing the world today, it is understandable that we seek help in various places, including Feng Shui aid. But different persons breed different motivations for applying Feng Shui, and here are some of the profiles of people who engage in Feng Shui.
The Business Tycoon
The business tycoon is completely focused in profits. He or she will be most likely to ponder positioning and orientation of his office building in relation to the directions of prosperity. He may even alter the numbers of his landline and address, if at all possible, to tailor to the lucky numbers for a given season. But more often than not, the business tycoon won’t have time to think all about these things and will be most likely to hire a Feng Shui expert to do it all under his approval.
Big-time business people who like Feng Shui can afford the most expensive form of Feng Shui help there is and actually use the profit to leverage in more profits with proper design and good Feng Shui.
The Pad-Owning Bachelor and Bachelorette
The bachelor’s priorities include adjusting to the adult world, getting financial stability and having fun socially. Typically, they are the ones who buy Feng Shui charms, remove threes of things in the bedroom to avoid unfaithfulness in relationships. Fun-loving and modern, they may find that they are heavy on electronic or metal objects and may opt to balance it with a small water fountain or soft fluffy furnishings.
The Housewife
The housewife is the one who pours through magazines and seeks out Feng Shui tips online and offline. She may also derive the techniques from other fellow housewives and friends within the neighborhood. Her common focus on Feng Shui would most likely be oriented on home and family matters. The housewife who likes Feng Shui is most likely into interior designing of home whether on an amateur or a professional level.
The Striving Employee
The striving employee who likes Feng Shui aims to make a miniature balance of earth elements on his desk. This may involve him or her putting a small mirror for water, a jacket to ward off the excessive metal in the corporate workplace and many others. The striving employee may also invite relaxation and peace of mind by means of a plant ornament or any lovely fixture that doubles as a Feng Shui charm and a form of esthetic display.
Which one are you? Comments please…

Mail this post That’s Happy Chinese New Year! 2009 is the year of the Ox in the Chinese calendar.
Now what has this to do with you, other than being of mild curiousity? The thing that you might not know about me is that long before I was known as “the NLP + HGE guy”, my work was mainly around Feng Shui. That’s right, your wee friend Shooey. The Chinese art of placement and environment.
Now I may not be the stereotypical old Chinese man in a black mandarin suit, but I did do professional Feng Shui consultations for Marriott Hotels, Texstyle World, Fiona Decorum, Virgin Cinemas as well as hundreds of 1:1 house and office consultations over the years
The simple truth is this – according to Japanese Astrology, there are certain good years and certain bad years, and it pays to know what kind of a year you’re in. Some years you SHOULD launch a business or start a family, and some years you really should avoid!
So why am I telling you this?
Well… this is something of an “open secret”… I have been waiting to give you the exact same system that I am using.
In fact, I have been waiting on this for almost three years. I even started a waiting list, and some folks have been on that list for a VERY long time. But it just wasn’t appropriate until we entered a new year. THIS year in particular.
Well, the wait is ALMOST over. It looks like we are only a few short weeks away from opening my first Feng Shui Secrets Weekend Seminar in 9 years.
But before I unleash this thing, I want to do one final check to make sure that this training really has everything that YOU need. So I have this one question for you…
What is your one biggest question about attracting good luck, more money, being healthy or having meaningful relationships?
I really want to know… please enter your questions HERE.
With so many readers, I can’t guarantee a personal response… but I can guarantee that I will personally read your questionsl. So go ahead and let me know – what is your one biggest question about Feng Shui?
That’s all for now…
Wishing you success,
Jonathan

Mail this post Feng Shui is more than just rearranging furniture, it’s a lifestyle. And lifestyles involve mindsets or concepts that are prevalent. Feng Shui experts just say no to some things without reason. Most of the things they do come with a line of reasoning that may not necessarily be embraced by many people.
Nonetheless, it is still a point of view that among other things, require careful consideration and thought. So what are the thoughts that prevail on the onset of Feng Shui? Here are just some of these prevalent concepts that a Feng Shui enthusiast or researcher may find useful.
Sense of Balance
The number one thing that Feng Shui promotes is balance. This balance comes in many forms, in the color arrangement, in the spatial factors up to the numbers that concern your working space or environment. The balance is more promoted by the five Earth elements of Feng Shui and the bagua, which is designed symmetrically and with complete reference to the different elements of the earth by Feng Shui standards. The standards of Feng Shui is made customized in every person, but it all boils down to having the right sets of things that complement and balance each other out.
Sense of Positivity
A sense of positivity is also what Feng Shui promotes. Positive energy is the thing most sought after by people who try to get the services of Feng Shui consultants. This positivism needs to be maintained. Conversely, it wards off all the forms of negative energy that may come in a given space. This is why there are charms that help cure the bad luck in a given place, especially those which have been established without guidance of Feng Shui.
A Natural Inclination for Beauty and the things that Promote It
Beauty in symmetry and symmetry in beauty is one of the core concepts of Feng Shui. It appeals to the physically inviting, and also adheres to fighting for beauty and balance in things. Feng Shui, in some ways, is a celebration of beauty in design and other physical elements of the space being designed.
Love for Your Environment
Feng Shui promotes the careful consideration of the environment before establishing places. Good Feng Shui respects the elements of the earth and makes the Feng Shui enthusiast more mindful of their surroundings. They don’t just work instantly in any oppressive place, but strive to remove any existing negativities in the environment.
Love for Self
The love for self is also promoted by Feng Shui. You will detect energy based on what generally feels good to you. Love for self involves not subjecting yourself to oppressive places or harboring negative energies that can be counter-productive to your different activities.
Dreaming big and making the environment jive with that dream
Finally, Feng Shui is more anchored on the greater scheme of things. When you have a dream and you intend to fulfill it in numerous ways, the best way to start is to have an environment that embraces those dreams. If you dream big and work hard, but your environment cancels all the things that you are striving for, it will be a very difficult task for you.
Feng Shui ensures that there is alignment between the things you want and the things that are manifested in the objects you see everyday.
