You’ve probably heard of feng shui and you’ve also probably made up your mind about what it means – without actually knowing much about it. For many people feng shui is something that will never make a difference in their lives because they don’t know enough about it to realize just how useful it can be. Using this ancient Chinese practice you can make your life calmer, bring yourself better luck, give your personal relationships a boost and turn your home into a haven for you and your visitors.
One of my colleagues at work is a firm follower of feng shui and she told me that by applying some of the practices and principles I could make my life much more stress free and happier. Obviously this was something that I was interested in and I asked her on advice about how to feng shui my life. She said that she used a book called “Secrets of Feng Shui Revealed” so I got myself a copy and couldn’t wait to start reading.

If someone told you that the colors that you had chosen to decorate your house in or choose to wear were having a negative effect on your life, would you believe them? Up until a few months ago, I would have laughed if someone said that to me. I mean how can the color of my bedroom determine how successful my love life would be, or how painting my front room in a certain color could affect my well-being?
I firmly believed that this kind of thinking was all new age mumbo jumbo until a close friend told me about a book on feng shui that she had read. This book was called “Secrets of Feng Shui Revealed” and she told me that after reading just a few pages she was able to make practical changes around her house using feng Shui color which got her results! Interested, I got myself a copy and looked into how feng shui color, when used properly can give you more energy, produce a calming atmosphere in certain rooms and even help your house more ‘kerb side’ appeal if you want to sell it!

It is so easy to feel as though your life is spiraling out of control, you can feel as though your personal relationships are going nowhere and your emotional well-being can suffer too. When it gets to this stage it is often hard to see the wood for the trees, and many people actually accept that this is the way that their life is going to be for the rest of their days.
You might not be aware of it but the clutter in your home could be contributing to your misfortunes without you even realising it. Lots of people live in cluttered houses where there are mountains of clutter from the floors to the ceilings; others just have bits and pieces in each room. But every single piece of this clutter is having a negative effect on their lives every single day.
