If someone told you that the colors that you had chosen to decorate your house in or choose to wear were having a negative effect on your life, would you believe them? Up until a few months ago, I would have laughed if someone said that to me. I mean how can the color of my bedroom determine how successful my love life would be, or how painting my front room in a certain color could affect my well-being?
I firmly believed that this kind of thinking was all new age mumbo jumbo until a close friend told me about a book on feng shui that she had read. Interested, I got myself a copy and looked into how feng shui color, when used properly can give you more energy, produce a calming atmosphere in certain rooms and even help your house more ‘kerb side’ appeal if you want to sell it!
I put some of the advice in the book into practice right away and I was astounded at how much more peaceful my house felt in no time. Within the first week I had managed to transform it into a tranquil haven and friends and family members couldn’t work out why it felt so different. They all wanted to know how I had used feng shui color to change the vibes in my house so much and turn it into such an ambient place. Now my home is my sanctuary where I can relax and find inner calm and it is all due to “Secrets of Feng Shui Revealed” and the amazing advice that it contains.
